I get a lot of questions about where the name “Walter Green” came from. It’s kind of silly, actually! I named this store after my Grandfather and my favorite color
Walter Green started off as a swimwear store in Port St. Joe, FL. Clothing, accessories, and tons of fun jewelry were added a bit later. Now when you visit the Port St. Joe location (open since 2011) you’ll see a huge selection of swimwear, as well as a diverse selection of easy clothing, separates, and dresses you can wear out at night, to the bar after the beach, and even to Sunday brunch!
In 2013 I opened my 2nd location in Tallahassee, FL which features mainly clothing, gifts, and accessories as well as formal and black tie dresses and denim! In the spring we carry a curated selection of swimwear. When someone comes in and tells me they are looking for something different, something they can be themselves in, and something that everyone else won’t be wearing, I know they’ve come to the right place. The girl that shops at Walter Green Boutique like to dress up occasionally. loves trying new colors and styles, and if she’s wearing a t-shirt and jeans it’s probably accompanied with some interesting jewelry or a colorful bag
