Shiner Roofing, Siding and Windows specializes in commercial and residential exterior construction services for Virginia and Maryland. Shiner has completed over 10,000 projects in that time and was recently recognized by The Washington Business Journal as the largest roofing contractor in the Washington, DC area specializing in the residential market. Shiner has over 50 dedicated employees and is a fully licensed, bonded, and insured contractor. Shiner is in excellent standing with the Better Business Bureau, is an active member in several business associations, and maintains successful partnerships with numerous industry leaders. Our mission is to determine and implement the right construction solution for each residential and commercial customer. We strive to provide fast and friendly construction services with the highest level of craftsmanship available, whether it is a simple repair or a complex re-roofing operation.

In the summer of 1980, Robert Shiner formed Shiner Roofing and began working on the neighborhood roofs. Kevin, at that time a high school student, worked along side his father part-time. After graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from George Mason University, Kevin continued with Shiner Roofing, while simultaneously running a local marketing firm.
In 1990, Kevin formed Shiner Roofing, Incorporated and began working in the business full-time where in his current capacity as President of the Company, he is responsible for all facets of the business and activities, supervision of Operations, Production, and all activities related to the organization and structure of Shiner Roofing. Kevin is a Panel Member for the Professional Roofer's Advisory Council, a Business Member for both the National Association of the Remodeling Industry and the Metro Washington Better Business Bureau, and maintains a Quality Master and Select Shingle Roofer status with the CertainTeed Corporation.
