History
Established in 1984.
In 1984, Ed & Catherine Lane opened the doors of their remodeling company. Lane Homes & Remodeling started by a different name, Standard Additions of Virginia. The company quickly became known for quality craftsmanship and high integrity. In 1994, we changed our name to Lane Homes & Remodeling, Inc. This was to keep with long-term plans to expand remodeling services. With the new name came a new location. We moved into an office building at 12536 Patterson Ave. The office is next to the West Creek Complex in Goochland. In 1997, Ed & Catherine's son, Edward, earning a B.S. in Business Management. He then joined the management staff. Now, Edward serves as President of the company. Edward is responsible for the day-to-day management of Lane Homes & Remodeling. We truly work for the nicest people. Our satisfied clients continue to increase because our mission remains the same.

Along with a B.S. in Business Management from Palm Beach Atlantic University in Florida, Edward Lane has more than fifteen years of experience in residential design and construction.
Your Lane Homes and Remodeling, Inc. team consists of highly skilled and experienced designers, draftspeople, production managers, project managers, and lead carpenters. Working together with you, their goal is to bring your vision for your home to life while ensuring your project is completed on budget, on time, and is of the highest quality.
