Mike and Valerie Peirson opened Island Home Renovation and Design in 2010 as a one-stop resource concept for their client's home renovation projects. Mike has been a renovation contractor on Seven Mile Island since 2000 with projects ranging from whole house renovations to small-scale kitchen and bath renovations.

Before opening the showroom, Mike's renovation work would often involve design work and traveling to various showrooms with his clients for the material selections. It was this time-consuming process that led him to conceptualize the one-stop-shop idea allowing his clients to enjoy their precious time at the shore.
Island Home has an extensive array of cabinetry, countertops, tile, plumbing fixtures, hardwood flooring, and carpet. Island Home also offers a light design service to make the most of your living space.
Valerie is an accomplished artist and has her work, and the work of other local artists, on display in the showroom. Val's seashore-themed artwork can provide the perfect finishing touch for your personal renovation project.
