Essential Auto Care is a new concept for the auto repair industry. Established in 2017, Essential Auto Care is the brainchild of the owners of M-Spec Performance one of the highest-rated European Service shops in the NYC area. We seek to fill the need for a highly professional and customer service oriented automotive shop that is technology forward, extremely professional, and always puts the client first. We service all makes and models including Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Infiniti, Lexus, Acura, Hyundai, Subaru, Ford, Chevrolet, GM, Dodge, Lincoln, Cadillac amongst other models. We are a full-service automotive repair and service facility and only employ ASE certified automotive technicians and automotive service professionals.

Michael Catarata is the general manager at Essential Auto Care. Michael brings over 5 years of experience from Volkswagen as a Volkswagen Master Automotive Technician, 2 years as a European automotive technician at M-Spec Performance, and 6 months as a service advisor. Along with long walks on the beach, Michael loves to apply his industry knowledge and help Essential Auto Care clients in any way he can.
