Founded in 1983, Asian Americans Advancing Justice - Los Angeles (Advancing Justice - LA) is one of the nation’s largest legal and civil rights organizations for Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders (AANHPIs). Advancing Justice – LA has multiple offices (Los Angeles, Orange County, and Sacramento). Through direct services, impact litigation, policy advocacy, and capacity building, Advancing Justice – LA focuses on the most vulnerable members of AANHPI communities while also building a strong voice for civil rights and social justice. Advancing Justice - LA offers legal services and advocacy in the areas of citizenship, immigration, domestic violence, health access, workers rights, immigrant rights, education equity, voting rights, demographics, redistricting and Census, and also a multilingual Asian language helpline.
